The canvas of this artwork may be tiled into three dimensions, the first one is the abyss with rusty old houses sunken under water personifies the Past, the second is where the travelors are standing or going, which is the Present and the ladder is leading us to the Future. In fact, there is one more dimension, the fourth. It's God, who is above all these three below.
