The series of paintings RAINS (oil on cardboard) was dedicated to the river Don delta, near Azov city, which is in the southwestern part of Russia. The Don delta is very picturesque, with its flows, tributaries, small islands and coves. Don is one of the most important and famous Russian rivers.
