The painting IN SEARCH OF LOST PARADISE is not a mere nostalgia for this haven of happiness, but rather sad meditations by the artist about the Way of finding the lost unity with God. The Paradise, as presented in the painting, is not an idyllic place where plants, animals and people live side by side in sweet harmony and God is walking in the paradise bushes...on the contrary - this paradise has been torn into zillions of tiny little islands, floating in the endless space of sea. These are the symbols of loneliness and contradictions between the people. Adam and Eve, created from the earth, are on the foreground. They became symbol of the Fall and discord between people and turned into a landscape. The Apple is another personage, alive and eternal, the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of the Good and Evil. It is surprising us with its eternal seductiveness...but this is not the point...

The main idea is the following:
Through the small figure of an almost imperceptible Man, who is lost in this grand and immense landscape, the Artist reveals to the viewers his own thoughts and feelings... He is looking for the lost Paradise. The desire of the exiled and alienated person is clear...he came into another world and wants to get back to his world ... to Paradise, closer to God... The arrow signs and boats are illusory symbols that are only misleading. The Man has just to look up in the Sky and he may see God and feel his close unity with Him...and then understand that God has always been with the Man, not only in Paradise, but in his Heart...and that is where he has to be found...
