In the painting Scholar's Quest, the artist shows the informational stratum (layer) of our planet - Noosphere, in the way it can be seen only in one's dream. The books making up the landscape - are all the information that has ever existed, that exists and that will be forever. This is the memory of humanity for the whole history, all what we have learnt, and what we are experiencing. And in this painting the BOOKS can be understood as an attitude to studies in general, as an ancient wisdom inherited by us, as LEARNING or spiritual enlightenment. Books, piled up on the canvas are peoples' thought constructions. In the dream the open book is reproducing an action, an event, it shows the ongoing process of creativity and thinking within us. Every person encounters only the books that one needs for understanding the TRUTH. But each person takes it in one's own way.
