For many nations - the crossroads is a place where several roads meet, cross and the crossroads reflects the moment of solitude face to face with one's destiny. It invites the traveler to stop for a while and try to understand before making a DECISION and it gives a possibility to make a CHOICE in an important period of life.
This painting shows a boundary point of dream space or meditation. This place is a point of transfer from one world into another, from one state into another, in this particular case - to comprehension of oneself and one's own life.
The painting shows many people and all of them find themselves together, but each one has his own choice of a way to go. Only one of this whole group went up the road, that is to a higher level of consciousness.
